Christopher Andrew Nichols co-founded BioScience Global with one bold vision: to provide innovative health solutions that address the most prevalent and challenging health problems confronting people worldwide today.​

This meant creating innovative, clinically proven, and cost effective solutions capable of rapid global distribution.​

An alumnus of Simon Fraser University (Canada), Christopher earned his BSc in Biology with distinction, paving the way for a successful career in senior leadership with global companies like Labatt Breweries (AB InBev), Coca-Cola, and Molson Coors. Although he thrived in these roles, Christopher felt a calling to make a deeper impact in the biotech space. Christopher founded Ecovatec Solutions Inc. a pioneering company that extracts life-vital molecules from avian eggs. ​

Christopher’s mission to create impactful global health solutions became personal as his wife, Lisa Nichols, continued to struggle with the symptoms of anemia, despite taking high-dose iron supplements as prescribed.  Her iron levels remained consistently low, and the unpleasant side effects seemed to worsen. ​

Determined to find a better solution, Christopher focused his expertise on developing a clinically effective iron therapeutic with ultra high efficacy, ultra low dosing, and no side effects.  ​

His efforts resulted in the groundbreaking development of PVP-437, the patent-pending technology that isolates, then fractionates, pure phosvitin, at a commercial scale.  PVP stands for phosvitin peptides, the highly concentrated “iron-magnet peptides” found in eggs. The innovation is known as Iron PVP™, or PVP-bonded iron.  ​

The scientific community hailed PVP as a significant technological achievement in biotechnology.  The reason is simple. When PVP is bonded to iron, it increases iron absorption by 837%, leaves virtually no unabsorbed iron in the gut to cause side effects, and rapidly restores iron levels with ultra low dosing.​

After just one month of taking Iron PVP™, Lisa’s ferritin levels rose significantly, without the gut-disrupting side effects associated with traditional iron supplements. More importantly, her anemia symptoms vanished, and her quality of life was transformed.​

Inspired by the dramatic life-changing effect of his PVP innovation, Christopher put a laser focus on the unmet needs of women (as well as men and children) worldwide: those who face similar struggles with iron deficiency and the debilitating symptoms that accompany it.​
